Notes
Educated at St Charles College and the University of Natal.
During a lengthy stay in England in the late 60s and early 70s he was much influenced by the work of Samuel Palmer, Stanley Spencer and Lucien Freud, amongst others. The artist's personal concerns about spirituality, sexuality and morality impact on the interpretation of the allegorical content of his work. Currently lives in Howick.
