the shoulder moulded with a band of flowers and foliage, the rim with arrowhead border, the side applied with a flowerhead-and-leaf handle, raised on an engine-turned circular footrim, dents, 9,8cm high, 200g; and a George V example, William Henry Sparrow, Birmingham, 1919, engraved with garlands of flowers and bows, the centre engraved ‘John Courtenay Thorne, 21-1-28’, 7,5cm high, 120g
