'Montane' - due to the vineyards' proximity to the lower slopes of the Helderberg West Peak. A single-vineyard wine from a bush vine parcel planted in 1964. The wine is heavily influenced by the clay rich soils which are prominent on the lower foothills of the Helderberg.
