The Sculptures of Sydney Kumalo and Ezrom Legae is an extensive catalogue raisonné presenting the sculptural masterpieces of two significant mid 20th century South African artists. It is the first of its kind, offering a comprehensive look into the works that were exhibited globally from the 1960s to the 1990s. Published by Strauss & Co, the launch of the book was marked by a retrospective exhibition on the 22nd of June 2023 at Strauss & Co's Johannesburg gallery.

Gavin Watkins and Charles Skinner spent 25 years meticulously researching and compiling the catalogue raisonné, supported by insights from the Kumalo and Legae families, the artists' gallerists in Johannesburg, Egon Guenther and Linda Goodman (Givon) (Goodman Gallery) and the prestigious Grosvenor Gallery (London). Contributions from the artists' mentors and teachers Cecil Skotnes and Edoardo Villa, further enrich this extensive volume.
