An Indian silk and metal thread embroidered table runner, late 19th/early 20th century
rectangular, the border embroidered and stitched in metal thread and sequins with four peacocks in full display, a further four interspersed with flower-filled vases and scrolling foliage, two centred by a perched bird, the whole with 'jewelled' border, mounted to a black fabric backboard, framed, the runner 49 by 130cm
