'A barrel selection from the Cabernet Reserve, only 1 400 bottles were made. There's 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec in the mix and the wine was matured for 20 months in French oak, 80% new. Includes 5% of the 2012 vintage for extra verve. Lovely aromatics - cassis and redcurrant, a slight and entirely attractive leafiness, violets, vanilla and cigar box. Lithe on the palate with pure fruit, fresh acidity and firm but fine, optimally ripe tannins. Impeccable.' - Christian Eedes, Winemag.co.za, 95/100
