'Boxler's 2011 evokes a blend of lychee with honey, nougat and caramel in an overtly confectionary but impressively pure, lusciously juicy, satin-textured and sustained performance. Its saline edge stimulates the salivary glands and hence the desire for a next sip. 'Bright golden yellow. Very deep marmeladey botrytis aromas of ripe peach, apricot, mango and papaya lifted by cinnamon notes. Very sweet and mellow, with lovely acid lift to the ripe, dense tropical fruit and honey flavors. Finishes long and pure, with a hint of pleasant bitterness at the back and noteworthy balance.
