Notes
'My work is created using line and colour to highlight the journey in Archbishop Desmund Tutu’s life, his work and the lives he has touched globally as an active advocate for peace. I am inspired by the quote from ‘The Book of Joy’, which reads: “Wherever you have friends, that’s your country. Wherever you receive love, that’s your home”. I created an image of the Archbishop and Dalai Lama, which I feel befits the above statement. Most of my work centres on the perspective of the Nguni, which explores the connections we have with space and a greater universe.' –Mzuvukile Norman Nxuseka
Mzuvukile Norman Nxuseka was born in 1982 in Central Western Jabavu, Soweto, Johannesburg. He is currently completing the Senior Graduate Programme at Artist Proof Studio.
