A Chinese celadon jade figure of Guanyin, 20th century
carved standing, with flowing robes, her right hand holding a fly whisk, her left behind her back, with serene expression, her hair in a high chignon, the stone of mottled celadon green tone with black and white inclusions, top half of fly whisk lacking, 20,7cm high, fixed to a Chinese hardwood stand, oval, pierced and carved with lotus blooms, raised on bracket feet, the whole 24cm high; and a Chinese celadon jade archaistic style vase and cover, 20th century, the baluster body applied with dragon-mask-and-ring handles, the domed cover surmounted by a pair of contesting dragon-masks, raised on a spreading foot, the stone of mottled green tone with black and white inclusions, minor chips, 15,4cm high
