A Japanese Satsuma earthenware vase, late Meiji/early Taishō period
the baluster body decorated with a frieze of Samurai before a water-and mountainscape between lappet and foliate bands, the shoulders applied with elephant-shaped handles, the neck enamelled and decorated with brocade patterns, iron-red script mark, minor chip, 35,5cm high
