A Japanese bronze sake ewer, Meiji period, 1868-1912
circular, with fixed handle, the outer lacquered body decorated with mon, raised on three toupie feet, lacking cover, chips, 15,5cm high; and a Chinese pewter-mounted coconut wine ewer, Qing Dynasty, 19th century, the coconut carved with two panels of prunus, bamboo and a rocky outcrop between diaper borders, with pewter base, spout and shoulders, the shoulders applied with a pair of carrying handles, lacking cover, 10,5cm high
