A Dutch silver comfit/spice box, maker's mark indistinct, 1833
the reeded ovoid body centred by a vacant shield-shaped cartouche, the domed hinged top similarly engraved, the base and interior of cover engraved VII, pinhead dents, 3,5cm high, 15g; and a Dutch silver novelty box, maker's mark indistinct, 19th century, in the form of a book, the hinged cover engraved with linework and geometric shapes enclosed by sprays of foliage, the spine engraved with the initials NR, the sides engraved with linework, with conforming back, split, dents, 6cm wide, 50g
