Critics Ratings
’60-year-old vines. 1 500 bottles made, which sold out in three hours. The complexity is very evident, medicinal, meat. Great craft. Impressive. One to silence the doubters?’ - Richard Hemming MW, JancisRobinson.com, 17/20".
'Shy at first, but time in the glass draws out wafts of roasted coffee, wet earth, toasted exotic spices and dried red fruit. In the mouth there is still great complexity and concentration but the once forthright flavours are dialled down low. Dried leaves, cured meat, polished leather and ripe red plum flavours are carried on supple tannins and fresh acidity.’ - Tina Gellie, Decanter, 93/100 (May 2022)
