Critics Ratings
‘Consistently one of the best, though violet and mocha perfumed 07 perhaps too ingratiatingly smooth, rich sweet red fruits harmoniously integrated with spicy, polished tannins. In youth not showing complexity of 06 and previous. 70% new French oak.’ – Platter’s SA Wine Guide 2010, 4*
'This softer style Pinotage is a benchmark for the variety from a producer who has helped put the wine on the map. The nose is a melding of plum, cherry, spice and black currant, and on the palate, mocha, plum, spice and cherry mingle. Soft, rich and integrated, it still has the spicy vigor of a true Pinotage.’ - Susan Kostrzewa, Wine Enthusiast, 90/100 (Mar 2010)
