A Japanese Satsuma teapot, Yokuzan, Meiji period, 1868-1912
the ovoid body decorated with panels of arhats, bijin, children and samurai enclosed by brocaded and zig-zag borders, the cover similarly decorated, some staining, 10cm high; a Japanese Satsuma vase, Hattori sei, the bulbous body raised on a stepped circular foot and decorated with shaped panels of samurai and arhats, enclosed by panels of coloured scrollwork, signed, 9cm high; and another, Meiji period, 1868-1912, the lobed ovoid body decorated with panels of Rakan and Kanon, headed by mon, enclosed by a brocaded border, signed, 9cm high
