Notes
The exhibition was called "Hinterland (going inland to gather creative energy). I shuttled between a studio I rented in Prince Albert and my base studio in Stellenbosch. I walked a lot in the Swartberg mountains and documented the lichens on rocks for this texture, from which the face developed."
