About this Item

2009, 2013, 2014 Beaumont, Radford Dale Ken Forrester
6 (3 x 2) 750ml

It's a little known fact, but a fact all the same, that South African Chenin Blanc wines are among the world's finest. It's also a fact that there is a group of visionary South African wine producers who are, not only fast spreading the word, but also continually providing hard evidence by producing Chenin Blanc wines of increasingly remarkable quality.
They're giving this noble variety royal treatment in the vineyard and cellar, and it's responding as nobility should - with grand personality, regal flavours and stately versatility.

These wines are unique and only available in limited quantities. The lot includes.

Beaumont Hope Marguerite 2014 (2 x 750ml)
Quietly regarded as one of South Africa’s benchmark Chenin Blancs, this barrel fermented, elegant style put Bot River and Beaumont on the fine wine map. Known to age for a decade or more, the Hope Marguerite has one of the longest consecutive Platter 5* track records in the history of the guide.

Radford Dale Renaissance Chenin Blanc 2009 ( 2 x 750ml)
The Renaissance of Chenin Blanc is all about subtlety and finesse. It is driven by its citrus fruit spectrum and has a wonderful refreshing saltiness.

Ken Forrester The FMC 2013 (2 x 750ml)
Together with Martin Meinert, they audaciously created a flagship Chenin Blanc called FMC (Forrester, Meinert Chenin). Sourced from vines planted in 1967, it set the world benchmark for New World Chenin and started SA’s Chenin revolution.
