Critics Ratings

'Espresso-spiked plum notes, 2007 savoury, spicy & silky, with super fruit purity & grip. Like 2006 (4.5 stars), full-bodied with an enduring spicy aftertaste, shade less elegant.'- Platter's SA Wine Guide, 4*

This has a solid core of crushed plum, blackberry and black currant fruit, showing well-integrated mesquite and spice notes that give a good grippy edge to the lengthy finish. Nice range.'– James Molesworth, Wine Spectator, 90/100 (Aug 2011)

'With only 20 cases imported, this will be a tough find but it's certainly well worth the hunt. This high-end Pinotage is lush and creamy, the oak-driven notes of dark chocolate and smoky cigar spice fusing seamlessly with the damson plum and dark berry preserve fruit center. Though dense and powerful, the long finish is surprisingly vibrant and spicy all at once.' - Lauren Buzzeo, Wine Enthusiast, 91/100 (Nov 2011)
