A walnut and inlaid secrétaire abattant, late 19th/early 20th century
the moulded arched pediment centred by a foliate-carved cresting centering an oval boss, above a frieze drawer, the hinged fall-front enclosing a long drawer and an arrangement of nine small drawers below flanking an open mirrored compartment with a checkerboard panel flanked by a pair of turned columns, above three graduated long drawers, the canted sides with carved corbels, raised on ring-turned feet, with lever action, minor veneer chips, 196cm high, 112cm wide, 56cm deep
