'Vajra's 2004 Barolo Bricco delle Viole has put on a bit of weight in bottle, yet retains all of the signatures, notably the energy and precision that are so typical of this site in the Vergne sub-zone of Barolo, one of the highest in the entire production zone. Sweet floral notes meld into spices, mint and dark red cherries.
