About this Item
Tenute Cisa Asinari dei Marchesi di Grésy (often simply referred to as Marchesi di Grésy) is a well-regarded wine producer located just east of Alba, in Piedmont, northwestern Italy. Its central winery is based in Martinenga, in the heart of the Barbaresco winemaking region, and it is most famous for its wines made under the Barbaresco DOCG. The estate has been in the possession of the di Grésy family since 1797, and began producing wines in 1973.
The estate boasts four key vineyards from Langhe to Monferrato: Martinenga in Barbaresco, Monte Aribaldo in Treiso and La Serra and Monte Colombo in Cassine.

Critics Ratings
‘A big, extroverted wine, the 2007 Barbaresco Camp Gros continues to develop beautifully. The warmth of the year has given the Camp Gros a little more fleshiness and power than is typically the case, but it all works. Layers of sweet, floral-infused fruit flow through to the textured, deeply spiced finish. This is a fabulous showing from Marchesi di Gresy. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2027.’ - Antonio Galloni, Wine Advocate, 94/100 (Oct 2012)
‘Ripe and lush, draped in raw silk, this red evokes cherry, strawberry and spice flavors. Tannins are present, but they're ripe and tempered by sweet fruit on the finish. Best from 2013 through 2024.’ - Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator, 92/100 (Apr 2012)
