Critics Ratings
'Aromatic on the nose; thick and dense on the palate. I felt, tasting this wine blind, that there were slightly more obvious tannins than in the wine that turned out to be 1999 Lytton Springs. Very dry finish still. Lots still to give even though the wine is already more than 10 years old.' - Jancis Robinson, jancisrobinson.com, 18/20 (Mar 2010)
'A ripe, rich, earthy style, with waxy wild berry, black cherry, blackberry, herb and minty notes. Turns a bit rustic on the finish, but the finish rings true with lively flavors. Zinfandel, Carignane and Petite Sirah.' - James Laube, Wine Spectator
