An Italian four piece silver tea service, l M A di Guerci & Co, Alessandria, 1944-1968, .800 standard
each of fluted bombé form, raised on four leaf-headed feet, with c-scroll handle, the hinged cover with conforming finial, comprising: a teapot, hot water jug, covered two-handled sugar bowl and milk jug, marks rubbed, the teapot with dent to the handle 2,5 by 1cm, the cover does not sit entirely flush and has a dent to the inner rim, 1cm wide, one hinge pin projecting, the handle lacking a fillet, the hot water jug lacking a fillet, the sugar bowl with one foot slightly distorted, 2435g all in, the hot water jug 23,5cm high
