the central dome with gadrooned border set with six recumbent stylized sphinx, each headed by a candle sconce and surmounted by a detachable alabaster shade, the whole suspended from a central column cast with four Egyptian maidens supporting a moulded dish and sphere, to a chain, 77cm high, 75cm wide
