About this Item
The Feraud family of Domaine Feraud has their history in winemaking dating back to 1670. In 1964, Paul Feraud began producing and selling his own wine, but it was his daughter, Laurence, who convinced him to create an independent family estate which was founded in 1987 and named Domaine du Pegau. Pegau is considered one of the best estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and their traditional-styled wines are considered some of the best in the world.

Critics Ratings
'Tasted blind. Deep purplish crimson with a pale rim. Warm, easy and rather comforting – worn pair of slippers? Some slightly sour damson juice – more like fruit juice than wine somehow – a bit reminiscent of the Gigondas 2014 phenomenon but much more concentrated. Dramatic.' - Jancis Robinson, JancisRobinson.com, 16.5/20 (Nov 2015)
