A Chinese Export carved ivory card case, circa 1840
the centre carved in a circle with three scholars standing beneath trees, bordered by decorative foliate panels, the reverse with a central engraved figural group, each corner with carved floral motifs, 9,5cm high, 5,5cm wide; and another, the centre with a carved figural group surrounded by trees, mountains and pavilions, the cover similarly carved, 11,5cm high by 7,5cm wide
