Remírez de Ganuza is a Spanish wine producer, located in the Rioja sub region approximately 12 miles (20 kilometers) northeast of Logroño. It is particularly known for its flagship Reserva and Gran Reserva wines of the same name. The estate was founded by former wine-broker Fernándo Remírez de Ganuza in 1989, when he acquired top-quality plots in Rioja Alavesa.
Fincas de Ganuza is one of the estate's flagship wines, crafted from a selection of the best vineyard parcels owned by the winery. The 2005 represents a superb example of Rioja wine, highlighting the quality and craftsmanship of one of the region's most esteemed producers.
