About this Item
2003 Edelspatz Noble Late Harvest
3 (1 x 3) 375ml
The Edelspatz Riesling - one of the wine world's iconic Noble Late Harvests (NLH) and most consistently awarded wines since its inception in 1979.
"Edelspatz" translates to "Noble Sparrow" in German, reflecting the German heritage of the Sperling family, who established Delheim in 1938. This wine is a "Noble Late Harvest," indicating that the grapes used to make it were harvested late in the season, typically affected by Botrytis cinerea, commonly known as noble rot. Noble rot causes the grapes to shrivel, concentrating the sugars and flavors, resulting in a rich, sweet wine with complex flavors.
