About this Item

2005 Gravel Hill
2 (1 x 2) 750ml

The 2005 was only the 2nd vintage to be released through the farm.

Critics Ratings

‘Savoury 2005 dusted with white pepper, packed with black olives; plush fruit wrapped around taut core. All-new oaking. From ferrous stone- on-clay vineyard.’ - Platter’s SA Wine Guide 2010, 4.5*

'Ripe and dense, but nicely refined, with stylish Kona coffee and mulled currant and loganberry fruit notes laced with melted licorice snap and spice. Liberally toasted, but integrated on the long, smoldering finish. Shiraz.' - James Molesworth, Wine Spectator, 91/100 (Jun 2010)
