Notes
Kurt Jobst was born in 1905 and emigrated to South Africa in 1935, setting up his workshop in Johannesburg.
Although he is best known as a goldsmith and silversmith, he was proficient in a number of skills including blacksmithing, enamel work, metal engraving and wood carving.

This piece was commissioned for the Blue Bird farm.
