Notes
Born in Pretoria in 1991, artist Alice Toich currently resides in Cape Town. She studied at the University of Cape Town’s Michaelis School of Art before attending the Florence Academy of Art in Italy between 2017 and 2019. Toich paints landscapes, portraits, and still lifes from life and en plein air. She works in oil on a number of different mediums, such as linen, canvas, and wood panel. Toich has also expanded into creating sculptures and painted tile murals.
