'Takes a lot of character from the barrels it was aged in, with butterscotch, caramel and pine notes dominating the juicy grape flavors. Displays a real dichotomy of sweet oak and tart fruit flavors on the finish. Odd, but pretty good if you like the style.' - Wine Enthusiast (Oct 2001)
