‘Made from 85% Pinot Noir and 15% Chardonnay, the 2014 Brut Zero opens with a bright and zesty nose with elements of green and yellow apple skin, zesty citrus, a delightful element of citrus blossom and nutty essence. Medium-bodied, the wine is energetic with a crisp and refreshing mouthfeel before giving way to complex flavors of toasted almonds and green apple. A lively, acidic backbone props up the expression. The wine concludes with a long, citrus and mineral-driven finish that will continue to be food-friendly for the next five to six years. 12,000 bottles were filled after resting on the lees, in bottle, for 60 months before disgorgement.’ – Anthony Mueller, Wine Advocate (May 2021)
