Notes
Clarice Cliff was one of the Britain’s most well-known and important ceramicists. She was heavily influenced by the Art Deco movement. Her work was often decorated with bright colours and bold, geometric forms which reflect the Jazz Age.
The 'Red Carpet' pattern was hand-painted, which instantly attracted large sales. It became one Cliff's signature designs.
