Firgrove vineyards, at the foot of the Helderberg, nestled between Somerset West and Stellenbosch, boast prime conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon, renowned globally for its quality. The unique soil of decomposed granite nurtures the vines, allowing roots to access water and nutrients in slow release during ripening.

Proximity to the cold Atlantic Ocean ensures slow ripening, while persistent winds control vigour, yielding small, concentrated berries with ripe tannins. A blend of fruit from 20-year-old and 9-year-old vineyards, this Cabernet embodies complexity with aromas of red and black fruit, earthy notes, and cedar. The palate is intense with chalky tannins and a savoury finish, offering a rich, balanced, and focused wine, showcasing Firgrove’s terroir excellence.
