With auspicious beginnings as our maiden vintage in 2000, this iconic Bordeaux-style blend comprises the classic cultivars: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot.

All grapes are exclusively grown on the property, benefiting from the soil-rich, north-facing Helderberg slopes worthy of the prominent Stellenbosch appellation. Each variety is separately managed to contribute unique and varied flavour profiles to the consummate blend.

Dark at the core with a crimson rim, it is full-bodied, elegantly endowed and finely poised. The new oak is well-integrated into a richly concentrated palate, framed by dry, yet soft tannins with complex aromas and flavours. There is ample structure and depth for this wine to age effortlessly for a decade or more.
