1. Hartenberg CWG Auction Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 (2 x 750ml) – Auction Year 2017
   Yielded by the best Cabernet parcel on Hartenberg Estate. Hand-picked and sorted for optimal quality and phenolic ripeness. Barrel matured for 19 months, 60% new and 40% second-fill French oak barrels. Only three 225 litre barrels were produced. The balance of this Cabernet is used as the foundation stone of our flagship red blend, The Mackenzie. Sold for R1 265 p/bottle.
2. Hartenberg CWG Auction Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 (2 x750ml) – Auction Year 2020
   Estate-grown, Bottelary Cabernet on tough iron laterite gravel, producing pea-sized, concentrated berries. Picked at full ripeness, 20 days on skins, 20 months in 50% new 225 litre French oak barrels. Hartenberg has been producing high-end estate-grown Cabernets since the 1960s. Sold for R1 400 p/bottle.
3. Hartenberg CWG Auction Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 (2 x750ml) – Auction Year 2023
   The grapes were selected from the single best Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard on the Estate to make this wine. Only three barrels of this wine were made to be sold over only one weekend of an entire year, making it truly exclusive. The wine can mature beneficially up to 25 years from vintage. Sold for R2 650 p/bottle.
