MULLINEUX SINGLE TERROIR | SINGULAR WINES FROM A PLACE OF ANCIENT SOILS

Mullineux GRANITE Syrah 2014, 2015, 2016:
The wines in the Single Terroir range truly encapsulate Mullineux’s long-term goal of respecting and expressing the unique terroirs of the Swartland. These cuvées are only bottled in the vintages that we believe combine the most classic and consistent expressions of the Swartland with balance and class and they therefore also have phenomenal ageing potential.

The fruit for our GRANITE Syrah hails from bush vines planted in the decomposed Granitic soils of the Paardeberg and this wine has become our Single Terroir red most synonymous with gorgeous perfumed aromatics, freshness and length. These characteristics are mainly driven by each vine having to work intensely hard to get to the water source seated deep within the GRANITE structure.

These wines will age at least 25 years from date of vintage.
