Martine Margoles graduated from Michaelis School of Fine Art (UCT) in 1986 and has had a diverse career in fashion and metalworking. After two solo exhibitions at the Goodman Gallery, she moved to New York, where she launched her Amos & Sophie T-shirt brand. Upon returning to Johannesburg, she established a metalworking studio, creating large-scale steel projects, including gates for Constitution Hill.

Her work is included in notable collections and has been showcased in exhibitions at venues such as the Goodman Gallery, Glen Carlow Gallery, and the Investec Cape Town Art Fair. She has an upcoming exhibition at the Heidi Erdmann Gallery in Stellenbosch.
