Magda van der Vloed is a prolific and multi-faceted artist within the contemporary South African art scene, residing in the picturesque town of Rosendal in the eastern Free State. With a rich background in design and product development across various African countries, she has transitioned into ceramics, bronze sculptures, and painting. Her creative process involves treating the surface of her works as a canvas, where she projects her thoughts and emotions.

van der Vloed has been featured in numerous magazines and has participated in various exhibitions worldwide. Currently, she is represented by ArtEye Gallery in Dainfern, Johannesburg, and Tereza Lizamore at the Woordfees in Stellenbosch, solidifying her presence in the art community.
