Mbali Tshabalala is a South African multidisciplinary artist, curator, and mental health advocate, holding a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art. Her artistic journey began in 2019 after seven years in curatorial and art administration, including a role as assistant curator at the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA).

Embracing a "curator as artist" approach, Tshabalala founded Collective UNTITLD and Anecdotes Gallery, significantly contributing to South Africa's art scene. Her work has been recognized in prestigious collections such as Rand Merchant Bank, JP Morgan Chase, and Art Bank South Africa, and showcased at notable institutions including the Johannesburg Art Gallery and Constitution Hill, as well as at auctions like Strauss & Co. and Aspire Art Auction.
