Nelia Andrag, born in 1972, in Winburg, Free State, grew up on a farm in Theunissen district. Her artistic journey is marked by experimentation with mixed media, including oil on linen, sewing, hand embroidery, ink, and watercolour on paper. With each new project, she challenges herself to delve deeper into her creative process.

Nelia is actively participating in upcoming exhibitions such as Kamers/Makers in Stellenbosch (March 2024), Stones of Remembrance in Welgemeend, Cape Town (August 2024), Scent of a Woman in Rosebank (September 2024), and Speel at Woordfees (October 2024). She is also a student at Marié Stander's School of Art.
