Dylan Graham (b. 1977, Pretoria, South Africa) holds a Fine Arts degree from Pretoria Technikon (2000) and a Master's in Fine Art from the University of Pretoria (2022). His primary mediums are oil on canvas and wood, where he captures seemingly mundane subjects like faces, figures, and tools. While his work is predominantly figurative, Graham focuses on the tactile and expressive qualities of paint, engaging with abstract ideas about the act of painting itself. A part-time lecturer in Figure Drawing at Tshwane University of Technology, he is also a practicing musician, blending themes of memory and nostalgia in his art.
