Samantha Maseko is a South African contemporary artist born in Boschfontein, Mpumalanga. She completed a three-year printmaking course at Artist Proof Studio, where she developed her artistic voice. Maseko's work has been showcased in various group exhibitions, earning her recognition in the art community. Notably, she was awarded the ongoing "Female Exchange residency" and commissioned to create a portrait of Angie Motshekga, the Minister of Education, in honour of her retirement. Recently, she participated in the group exhibition "Forewomen" at Gallery MOMO, further solidifying her presence in contemporary art.
