Richard ‘Specs’ Ndimande, born in 1994, in Johannesburg, is a fine artist renowned for his evocative works that explore complex themes related to identity and society. He obtained his BFA in Visual Art and a Diploma in Visual Art from the University of Johannesburg, where he honed his artistic skills. Ndimande has received several prestigious awards, including the Kannas Award in 2023 and the Reserve Bank Art Scholarship in 2017. His solo exhibitions include notable shows such as "The Bull & The Bear" at the Rand Club Gallery and "A Day of Suffering is Enough" at the Voortrekker Monument.
