Caroline Jordaan, born in 1987 in East London, South Africa, is a lifelong artist who began creating under the influence of her mother, also an artist. She discovered her passion for oil painting at the age of 14 and, after a stint in the film industry, launched her professional art career in 2019. Caroline is known for her realistic style and her recent fascination with the theme of water, capturing its beauty and fluidity. Her work has been featured in prestigious competitions, including the Tolland Bouchard Finlayson Art Award and the Sanlam Portrait 100. She has gained international recognition, with her paintings commissioned for the world's most expensive hotel room at Atlantis The Royal in Dubai. In addition to her creative practice, Caroline has been teaching art since 2021, helping others explore their own artistic journeys.
