Vanessa Tembane (b. 1995) is a South African born with Mozambican heritage currently living and working in Johannesburg. Tembane received her Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Johannesburg in 2019 where she majored printmaking.

Tembane has participated in multiple group exhibitions and has pieces in the Merchant Bank Collection and the Art Bank Collection. She also had a solo presentation of her work with INCCA (Independent Network for Contemporary Culture & Art) at the FNB Art Joburg fair in 2020. Tembane has been a recipient of the Ampersand Fellowship completing a month-long residency in New York City.
