Zonia Nel-Sheffer completed her BA (Fine Arts) Honours at the University of Pretoria in 1996. She received a merit award at the Sasol New Signatures in 1998, and her work has since been included in prominent collections such as Sasol, ABSA Private Bank, Hewlett-Packard, Rand Merchant Bank, Nandos (UK), and the Leon Strydom Collection. In 2009, she won the Sanlam "Vuleka" painting category. Zonia has held six solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group shows. She is also a member of ‘The Voice Art Collective,’ continuing to make a mark with her distinct style and artistic vision.
