Ella Cronjé is a South African sculptor based in Betty’s Bay, Western Cape. With 14 years of experience in ceramic production and design, she developed distinctive process skills that inform her contentious sculptures. Although predominantly self-taught, she has benefited from mentorship by established artists. Since 2016, Ella has participated in various group exhibitions and art fairs, showcasing her work in her first solo exhibition at Rust n Vrede Gallery/Clay Museum in 2017, following her art residency in Paris. A subsequent residency in Mexico in 2018 led to a group exhibition in Guadalajara.
