Bronwen Findlay, born in 1953 in KwaZulu-Natal, is a celebrated South African painter, mosaic artist, and printmaker. With a career spanning several decades, she has exhibited her work extensively since her first show in Durban in 1977. Her artistic journey includes teaching and lecturing at institutions such as the University of Witwatersrand and the University of Johannesburg. Findlay holds a Master of Arts in Fine Arts and a Higher Diploma in Education. Known for her vibrant oil paintings that reflect her personal surroundings, her work has been exhibited at prominent galleries such as Everard Read Gallery and Gallery 2 in Johannesburg. Recently, Findlay exhibited once again in Durban, marking 47 years since her debut.
